Abstract In this project, we developed power theft detection and billing using Arduino Uno. Electrical based power theft in this we using Arduino Uno microcontroller and relay board two lamps and most important thing current sensor and voltage sensor but voltage is constant so we gave directly 230v. when the consumer added additionally load means the power theft was detected by this method and how much power will be consumed we are calculated and created a bill for that consumed power.

The system is designed in order to calculate the energy consumption of a load in units and the cost incurred over the use in rupees in accordance to the number of hours that the load is to be used. The result is provided instantly allowing user to save time wasted in energy audits. An energy audit is a power consumption survey of the amount of units consumed by a particular device and the cost incurred over it to determine if the device is economical use in domestic or industrial sectors. Since electricity cost per unit has increased a lot these days, energy audits for devices have gained importance. Our project consists of an instant energy auditing system using 8051 microcontroller that is able to calculate the consumed units and cost incurred by device use over given time. The input data including energy tariff and the number of hour’s device is to be used is fed by user into the system. Based on this data the system instantly displays the cost and units consumed within no time.

The project is an automatic load operation system that controls load operation, multiple numbers of times according to programmed instruction. The project eliminates the manual ON/OFF switching of load. A real time clock (RTC) is used to track the time and automatically switch ON/OFF the load. This project is required for load shedding time management which is used when the electricity demand exceeds the supply and there comes a need for manually switching ON/OFF the electrical devices in time. Hence this system eliminates the manual operation by automatically switching the load ON/OFF. A matrix keypad is interfaced with the microcontroller from where the specified time is input to the microcontroller. When this input time equals to the real time, based on the commands the microcontroller initiates that particular relay to switch ON/OFF the load. The time is displayed on a seven segment display.

Our project is designed to switch industrial loads by making use of android app through logic control device programmed by user. The system is made to be used in repetitive nature works. This remote controlling task is achieved through the use of any android based device (phone/tablet) running on an android OS. Using programmable logical in order to achieve sequential switching of loads proves a very costly operation. Here we propose a simple and cost effective alternative to the issue by making use of 8051 microcontrollers. The controlling part is provided on an android application. Various tasks and in today’s industries work on repeated operations in varied orders and intervals. Consider an example there a motor needs to run after every 3 seconds. So for this purpose we program the microcontroller to work in three different options: Set option, Manual option and Auto option.

This system is mainly designed for LED based street lights with auto intensity control. This is done using solar power from photovoltaic cells. Due to the many benefits of using solar energy, many institutions are opting to make use of solar energy. For converting the sunlight to electricity, photovoltaic panels are used for charging the batteries. In order to control charging, charge controller is used. Intensity of street lights is required to be kept high during the peak hours. As the traffic on the roads tends to decrease slowly in late nights, the intensity can be reduced progressively till morning to save energy. Thus, the street lights switch ON at the dusk and then switch OFF at the dawn automatically. The process repeats every day.

The soldier Health and Position Tracking System allows military to track the current GPS position of soldier and also checks the health status including body temperature and heartbeats of soldier. The System also consists extra feature with the help of that soldier can ask for help manually or send a distress signal to military if he is in need. The GPS modem sends the latitude and longitude position with link pattern with the help of that military can track the current position of the soldier. The system is very helpful for getting health status information of soldier and providing them instant help.

System demonstrates a fully automated car parking system. For this purpose we use IR sensors along with motors, LCD display and microcontroller for controlling the system working. Our system consists of an LCD display that is used to demonstrate as a parking gate entrance display. The display displays empty slots to new car arriving at gate of parking area. If no parking space is available the system does not open the gate and displays parking full. If slot is empty system allows car to enter the lot and displays empty slots where user can park. To detect vehicle slot occupancy the system uses IR sensors. Also system uses IR sensors to detect vehicles arriving at parking gates, to open the gates automatically on vehicle arrival. The microcontroller is used to facilitate the working of the entire system.

The project proposes a GPS based vehicle tracking system that tracks the vehicle and sends the tracking data over through a sms. The microcontroller acts as the controlling head of the system. When the system goes in Theft mode the authorized user gets the alert message and user will Able to stop the vehicle engine immediately via sending sms to system With ‘S’ Keyword. The system includes a GPS modem that tracks the vehicle location in the form of latitude and longitude. This location can be accessed via sms that is being sent to the user. With the help latitude and longitude information SMS user will able to locate vehicle with Google map. This system proves very beneficial for transport and travel companies as they can now keep track of their vehicles.

Monitoring and keeping tracking of your electricity consumption for verification is a tedious task today since you need to go to meter reading room and take down readings. Well it is important to know if you are charged accordingly so the need is quite certain. Well we automate the system by allowing users to monitor energy meter readings over the internet. Our proposed system uses energy meter with microcontroller system to monitor energy usage using a meter. The meter is used to monitor units consumed and transmit the units as well as cost charged over the internet using Wi-Fi connection. This allows user to easily check the energy usage along with the cost charged online using a simple web application. Thus the energy meter monitoring system allows user to effectively monitor electricity meter readings and check the billing online with ease.

These days we have an increased number of heart diseases including increased risk of heart attacks. Our proposed system users sensors that allow to detect heart rate of a person using heartbeat sensing even if the person is at home. The sensor is then interfaced to a microcontroller that allows checking heart rate readings and transmitting them over internet. The user may set the high as well as low levels of heart beat limit. After setting these limits, the system starts monitoring and as soon as patient heart beat goes above a certain limit, the system sends an alert to the controller which then transmits this over the internet and alerts the doctors as well as concerned users. Also the system alerts for lower heartbeats. Whenever the user logs on for monitoring, the system also displays the live heart rate of the patient. Thus concerned ones may monitor heart rate as well get an alert of heart attack to the patient immediately from anywhere and the person can be saved on time.
