Abstract: The project is a device to transfer power wirelessly instead of using conventional copper cables and current carrying wires. The concept of wireless power transfer was introduced by Nikolas Tesla. This power is made to be transferred within a small range only for example charging rechargeable batteries etc.

Here we put forth a fully automated night lighting system that detects light condition and switches on or off a load/bulb based on the light intensity. The system uses a LDR along with 555 timer and relay based circuitry with AC load connection in order to achieve this result. As soon as the light intensity falling on the LDR drops below a certain level, the circuitry uses a 555 timer based circuit to drive a relay for specific time duration. This process keep happening over time and the load is switched on through a relay as long as there are night/low light conditions. As soon as lighting increases the system switched off the load to turn of the lighting. Thus we have a fully automated night lighting system.

No smoking zones are meant to ensure smoke free areas which promote good health and well being. Especially in public places no smoking zones ensure smoke free environment for people and children. But it is not feasible to manually monitor these zones to ensure a smoke free environment and an automated system is required to ensure this.

Abstract: Here is a simple project more useful in watering plants automatically without any human interference. We may call it as Automatic plant irrigation system. We know that people do not pour the water on to the plants in their gardens when they go to vacation or often forget to water plants. As a result, there is a chance to get the plants damaged. This project is an excellent solution for such kind of problems.

Abstract: Automatic Railway Gate Control System is a simple but very useful project, which help is automatically opening and closing the railway gate upon detecting arrival or departure of the train. In general, Railway gates are opened or closed manually by a gate keeper. The information about arrival of train for opening or closing of door is received from nearby station. But some railway crossings are totally unmanned and many railway accidents occur at these unmanned level crossings.

The Automatic Road Reflector is a simple but effective system will help us automate the traditional road reflectors. A raised pavement marker is a safety device used on road to guide the vehicles along the path at the time of night. The Automatic Road Reflector system is designed to replace this currently being used safety device. The proposed system is designed to sense the intensity of ambient light and work accordingly. At the time of low light, the system senses the ambient light has been decreased and it lights up the reflector. On the other hand, the system will turn itself into power saving mode at the time of bright light and will save energy.

Abstract: In case of fire at home/office the internal parts of the premises gets filled with smoke. This smoke layer progressively becomes so thick that it lowers the visibility considerably. We can use this fact to construct our simple smoke detector alarm that can notify the residents in around the premises about the fire breakout. The Automatic Smoke Detector Alarm is very compact as it doesn’t employs the costly smoke detecting sensors. It has pair of infrared sensors which are continuously monitoring the visibility in the premises where they are attached. In case a fire erupts, smoke gets generated and spreads in and around the premises. Once this smoke reaches the smoke detector module the visibility of the infrared sensors get obstructed. This triggers a fire alarm in the detector module. Hearing this alarm the resident in and around the premises can get alert about the fire and vacate the premises. The alarm goes ringing till there is smoke in the premises and goes off once the smoke recedes.

Abstract; Did you ever think that how the street lights automatically turn ON in the night and turn OFF automatically at morning? Is there any person who comes to ON/OFF these lights? There are several ways to turn on the street lights but the following circuit describes an Automatic Street Light Controller Circuit that uses LDR and Relay to perform this job automatically.

Introduction: While parking the car the driver should be more careful because he cannot see the back of the car while parking or taking reverse, if there is any obstacle and ran over it might be get damage to the car. Our project will help the person in the driving seat and give alarm if there is any obstacle or a wall while parking or while driving in reverse.

Abstract: Automatic switching system are nowadays very popular in domestic as well as industrial scenario. In this project we have a DC fan connected to the system. The system is configured in such a way that by a particular action of the user ‘Clapping’ can cause the Fan to start and remain ON for a limited period of time.We have mic that acts as a transducer. This transducer converts the sound energy in its vicinity to electrical pulses. These pulses are amplified and given to 555 timer controller. If someone claps near the mic of the system the above stated series of events get triggered. This leads to turning ON of the Fan. Due to the timing configuration set in the 555 timer the Fan remains ON for a stipulated period of time. After that period the Fan turns OFF and waits for the next clap from the user.The Mic is biased in to the circuit in such a way that it doesn’t picks up noise signals from the ambience. These electrical converted audio samples are amplified from an amplifier stage. Once the received sample has a voltage level enough to trigger the 555 timer, the Fan turns ON. Due to the mono stable configuration of the timer the Fan remains ON only for a stipulated period of time. After this time passes the Fan turns OFF and waits for the next pulse from the Mic.
